Our No Kings II demonstration on Saturday, October 18th will be a march, or parade, around the perimeter of the Guilford Green. A fife and drum will be at the corner of Boston and Whitfield Street, our customary vigil site. We will lineup behind them on Boston Street. At 11, led by the fife and drum, we will march up Whitfield Street, walking clockwise around the green, holding our signs and American flags, and chanting, until 12 noon. Why the perimeter you ask – ‘cause a Gilmore Girls festival has booked the center of the green for that day and we graciously deferred. Plan to come early ‘cause parking won’t be easy.
